
My Focus on the Details
Before getting into marketing, I was helping sell the product as a model and stylist. It was on a denim shoot at Bootlegger that something clicked — I realized I didn't just want to be in the frame, I wanted to be the one making the creative calls. That experience taught me that every tiny detail matters and how small choices influence a buyer's decision. I bring that same level of detail to my work in Adobe, Figma, and TikTok.

Driven by Creative Instinct
It always starts with a vision. I see something in my head, and I make it happen. Ever since I was a kid, that instinct pushed me from hobby to hobby — sketching to match exactly what I saw in a picture, making my own jewellery instead of buying an expensive piece, teaching myself to edit videos so they looked like the YouTubers I watched. I've always loved taking an idea that only exists in my head and figuring out how to make it real.

Why Ad & Marketing?
I chose advertising because it's a creative playground where you can take a relatable truth and turn it into a visual that makes people feel something. I'm a firm believer that ads are works of art — just ones with a strategy behind them.
My friends and I started a brand called Hotwire to sell our old thrifted clothes in a fun and creative way — we jumped in and figured it out as we went. It started with pop-ups, then planned shoots and promotions, and then we started putting on the events ourselves. We shot our own content, got creative with edits, sold tickets, and worked with people to pull it all together.
This experience gave me a lot. I had full creative freedom to make content that matched our brand and vision, learned how to put on events, sell tickets, and promote to the Winnipeg market. Most importantly, it taught me how to build a brand from the ground up.
